You may earn entries by providing your electricity usage data through one of the following free methods:
Entries earned from SMT connection or manual usage upload remain active only while IntelliWatt™ has electricity usage data for you from the preceding twelve (12) months. If your usage data on file becomes older than twelve (12) months, these entries will expire and will not be included in future drawings unless you reconnect SMT or upload updated usage data.
After you have provided usage data as described above, you may earn additional entries by completing optional profile information in your IntelliWatt™ account:
Entries earned from current plan information, home details, and appliance details remain active only while IntelliWatt™ has electricity usage data for you from the preceding twelve (12) months. If your usage data on file becomes older than twelve (12) months, these entries will expire and will not be included in future drawings unless you reconnect SMT or upload updated usage data.
You may earn referral entries by inviting friends or family members to sign up for IntelliWatt™. For each referred individual who completes the registration process and provides their own electricity usage data (by connecting SMT or uploading usage as described above), you will receive one (1) additional entry. Referral entries do not expire and will remain associated with your account for all future drawings, unless your account is closed or otherwise becomes ineligible.
If you switch electricity plans through IntelliWatt™ or purchase or complete an energy-related upgrade through Intellipath Solutions LLC (such as solar, HVAC, insulation, or similar services), you may be invited to submit a testimonial about your experience. If you provide a testimonial in accordance with the instructions in the IntelliWatt™ portal, you will receive one (1) testimonial entry. Testimonial entries do not expire and are only available to users who have actually completed a qualifying plan switch or upgrade. Providing a testimonial is optional and is not required to enter or win.
To enter the Sweepstakes without providing usage data or completing any IntelliWatt™ platform actions, you may use the Alternate Method of Entry. AMOE submissions are accepted only by mail. During the Sweepstakes Period, hand-print your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address on a postcard and mail it, with sufficient postage, to:

Limit one (1) AMOE entry per person per calendar month. Each eligible AMOE postcard received during a calendar month will count as one (1) entry in the drawing period that includes that month. Only original handwritten postcards sent via U.S. mail are accepted. Emailed entries, digital submissions, photocopies, bulk mailings, and mechanically reproduced entries are not valid and will be rejected.
The monthly jackpot increases by $5 for every customer who switches to a commissionable plan using our platform.
Not all energy plans pay us — and that's okay. We still recommend whatever saves you the most from the plans available through our growing provider network (starting with WattBuy) based on our analysis. But only commissionable plans grow the jackpot.
Drawings only occur when the jackpot reaches a minimum of $500. If not, all entries roll over.
Note: You don't have to switch plans or pick a commissionable one to enter or win. But they do help grow the prize pool.
Drawings occur monthly, on or around the 5th of each month. Entry period runs from 12:00 AM CT on the 1st day through 11:59 PM CT on the last day of the month.
One winner is chosen at random from all valid entries that are active at the time of the drawing. Each entry is a separate chance to win. Entries earned from usage data or profile information must remain active pursuant to Section 3 to be included. Referral, testimonial, and AMOE entries remain active unless the account becomes ineligible.
Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received and active at the time of the drawing. They change monthly as more users participate or update their information. Maintaining current usage data helps keep usage-based and profile-based entries eligible for inclusion.
Example: 100,000 total active entries = 1 in 100,000 odds per entry.
Winner will be notified via email and/or SMS within 3 business days. Winner must respond within 14 days and complete a digital claim form. Failure to complete the claim form within 14 days will result in forfeiture of the prize. Alternate winners may be selected if unclaimed.
Prizes are issued via digital payment (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) or mailed check, based on the winner's preference.
