Never. We don't sell your info, and we don't allow spam from plan providers. All communication is directly from us, and only when needed.

We use it to analyze your bill, compare plans from our growing provider network (starting with WattBuy), estimate savings, and manage your jackpot entries. We never sell or rent your personal data, and any bulk studies or product improvements use aggregated, de-identified information that cannot be tied back to you.

We use your Smart Meter Texas data (with your permission), or your uploaded bill, along with details about your home and appliances. Our proprietary algorithm then analyzes your real usage patterns hour-by-hour to match you with the lowest-cost plan available through our growing provider network — based on how your home actually uses energy.

IntelliWatt™ is our secure user portal where your jackpot entries, energy insights, and plan recommendations are stored. It's the system that tracks your activity and delivers your personalized results. When you log in using your secure email link, you'll land on your IntelliWatt™ dashboard — the brains behind HitTheJackWatt™.

HitTheJackWatt™ and IntelliWatt™ are both operated by Intellipath Solutions LLC, a Texas-based energy intelligence company.

You'll get a recommendation when your current plan comes due, or sooner if we detect that switching early could save you money — even after accounting for any early termination fee. You'll also earn entries into the monthly Jackpot and can update your info or switch plans anytime.

You earn entries by:

• 1 for connecting Smart Meter Texas (where available) or 1 for uploading your usage manually
• 1 for adding your current electricity plan information
• 1 for completing your home details
• 1 for completing your appliance details
• 1 for every friend you refer who connects SMT or uploads their usage
• 1 for submitting a testimonial if you’ve switched through IntelliWatt™ or completed an IntelliPath upgrade
• 1 per person per calendar month via the free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) postcard

Entries tied to your usage and profile stay active while we have usage data from the last 12 months. Referral and testimonial entries never expire. AMOE postcard entries count only for the drawing period in which they are received, so you'll need to mail a new postcard each month if you want to stay eligible that way.

The jackpot grows based on user activity and energy plan switches through IntelliWatt™. It resets after each drawing and starts growing again!

Every time someone switches to a plan through our platform that pays us a referral commission, we add $5 to the jackpot. Not all plans pay us — but when they do, we share that value with the community by growing the prize pool.

Monthly — on the 5th of each month. Keep your usage data fresh at least every 12 months so your profile entries remain active. Referral, testimonial, and AMOE entries stay active without expiring.

A winner is drawn once the jackpot reaches at least $500. If it doesn't reach that amount in a given month, entries roll over to the next drawing.

Nope. You can enter, earn entries, and win without switching — though switching does help grow the jackpot.

No — we show the best plan available through our provider network for your actual usage. Sometimes, a plan with a lower advertised rate ends up costing more because of your unique usage pattern, hidden fees, or mismatched contract terms. Our system uses real data to calculate total cost over time, not just cents per kWh.

We'll still recommend it. We only add $5 to the jackpot if a user picks a plan that pays us a referral fee — but that never affects the plan we recommend. We earn your trust by doing what's right, not just what pays.

No. We use real usage data and AI analysis to always recommend the plan that saves you the most — even if that plan doesn't pay us. However, if you choose a plan that does pay us a referral fee, we'll add $5 to the jackpot on your behalf.

There's no limit! As long as your qualifying entries are active (and your profile entries stay current), you’re eligible for every drawing.

One entry = one ticket in the monthly draw. Winners are chosen at random and notified via email or SMS.

IntelliWatt™ will notify you by email and/or text if you're the winner.....or we might surprise you in person! Make sure your contact info is accurate.

We support that! When you indicate that you have solar, our system looks for solar buyback plans and time-of-use pricing that works with your setup. You can even simulate post-solar usage if you're thinking about going solar soon.
